I was kinda in your position a few months back, but I was supporting HD DVD. The PS3 price dropped so I forced myself to get a PS3, I didnt really want it but I got it. and then i started buying Blu-rays.
I still want HD DVD to win the war though since it is my primary format of choice and I do think that Blu-ray players are just ... expensive.

Even if you support blu ray Hd-Dvd is just so damn cheap theres no excuse not to pick it up.
Right now i'm Hd-Dvd only but as soon as there i s a sub 200 blu ray player or the Ps3 price drops again I'm gonna pick up a blu ray player no reason not too.

Don't feel bad because the HD DVD Promotion Group gave Paramount and Universal a big payoff to go HD DVD exclusive. Blu-ray is backed by over 170 companies while HD DVD players are supported by Toshiba and Microsoft.

now u r happy eh? Uni is preparing releasing titles on BluRay in the up coming 4 - 6 weeks. it's official so is Paramount.
