Yeah just because YOU disagree with Glenn Beck doesn't mean everyone does. He's entitled to show his opinion and have one of his own.
You obviously are NOT seeing this for what it is. The piece is damning Al Gore for something he obviously was not responsible for. Just look at the amount of negative comments here directed at Al Gore.
Just because I disagree with your opinion doesn't mean I hate you and it doesn't mean your not entitled to it. You must have read my comment wrong and misinterpreted it.
Irena is amazing but her story is not unique, there are many who do these things in war times, regardless of the war you're talking of.
she should be honored by all.

In the 1970s the warned of "Global Cooling" we were all going to die. Now it's "Global Warming" changed to "Climate Change" that will kill us all.
Next year or the year after it will be another "OH NOES" situation. Global warming, Y2K, etc are all just crap to sell newspapers. Live a while longer and you'll see.

oh man. my side is killing me. i agree with some of your premise. it's true... there's always some trend of "OH NO" out there, and they're usually a load of BS. but global warming is real. sorry. it's more than real. it's tangible in our everyday lives already. i pray people wake up because i don't want to go down with your ship.

Also you cant give nobel peace prize everyone that saved loads of jews. Then you would have atleast a decade of people just saving jews getting the prize.
This means that the nobel peace prize is just there to point out that work is done in some direction and the leading man/women get it in that field.
Maybe it's his chubby cheeks and puppy dog eyes when he waves his arms around miming the Germans beating on the woman ...
PS. I am not a Gore supporter, but thankfully we don't have this kind of biased propagandaist fox news style reporting in my country.

In any event, I do admire your faith; I don't have enough faith to be an atheist. That takes a lot more than I have for sure.
Why? Because after growing up in a Christian environment no one could explain to me why they believed one form of religion over another. Because their family did? Because they happened to grow up in a Christian rather than Muslim or Hindu environment? Isn't that a bit of a cop out that you are happy to believe whichever religion your family and friends do?
What if you lived a life where you never came into contact with organised religion? Would you go to hell for being an unbeliever?
Do you really think a supernatural being or essence would have the human failings of arrogance and pride? If not, why does every religion force its followers to worship and continually praise their icon?
I can not tell that what he talks about is true or not but I do know that if it is then its good that we do something about it as soon as possible.
Its a fact though that the earth does get warmer, wheter its from the co2 or not can be argued about. We have loads of other greenhouse gases aswell.
