Thanks for proving how retarded hearing people can be. And like I said before... Deaf people do not want to be fixed with medical instruments, we are fine the way we are. We can like communicate and everything. Imagine that!

I think of cochlear implants as more of an option than a fix. Like a hearing person might take the option to learn sign language out of curiosity and in the spirit of learning something new, someone who's deaf might want that same option.

Fuck off inukill, u dont' know what u r talkin about. Deaf ppl can be in music video if they want to, it takes alot of training! Also they may have the texts behind the cameras so that they can see the words. Deaf ppl can do anything but hearing, u dumb dipshit!

i agree. besides, if inukill knew anything about deaf culture he would realize that this video is extremely artistic and touches on a very controversial topic in the deaf community: cochlear implants. for all those wondering, she isn't translating the song, she's applying its metaphorical meaning to her life and her experiences.

Um, I'm Deaf and I have cochlear Implant, Sure, it might be against everything, But I'm still in my deaf world and I could hear to function because I want to be in hearing world too, I'm in 2 worlds and I can communicate with hearing and deaf people! SO yea!

I've been a part of the Deaf community for about 15 years now. I've seen a lot of various opinions on the whole CI choice. Since I am not Deaf, I prefer to leave the opinions and the choice to the individuals that it actually affects. I've seen several other videos or movie shorts that are pro-CI. It is refreshing to see artistic expression of this side of the fence on the issue.
