the commercial is genius. The Telekom marketing bods knew what a dramatic effect this performce has on people. For some reason it is extremely touching and yet no one really knows exactly why, but Paul Potts is linked remotely to telecoms having been a mobile phone salesman, and so the spot encompasses a unique combination of extreme emotion and an underlying message that we are all connected. Brilliant. Not only do they make the best cars, they're catching up in this field too. Wow! Good job.

aumboidsch....I went to see Paul Potts Koln, where he performed to eleven thousand audience who screamed encore at end. Paul reached those eye Cs every time, and I preferred him to your men, who have trained for many years, its a fact. Paul is a great in progress, just watch him go forward to his peak, still like him better than those trained ones at their peak. Paul hasn't gone through the conservatories, and unrecognized opera singers who have, might be some what jeaulous, your comment unjust.

Paul Potts is a phenomenon made up by the media. The Media was looking for someone like him. Other opera singers achieved their aim with stressful, strenuous work. Paul Potts didn't. Without media their wouldn't be a Paul Potts.

Leider kann man seine Posts nicht überall los werden, aber du hast völlig recht aumboidsch! Und ich könnte dir noch 100 weitere aufzählen, die das mindestens genau so gut machen. Ich lebe in Schottland und habe wie 23 millionen andere auch seinen Auftritt
damals im TV live verfolgt und sein Auftritt beruehrt mich jedesmal aufs neue wenn ich das video sehe. Es haben sich ueber 1,5 mill. kommentare im Internet angesammelt und es ist schon typisch das die meisten negativen bzw. abwertenden postings aus Deutschland kommen, muss wohl der deutsche drang zum motzen und neiden sein.

anstatt darüber zu meckern das paul berümt ist und die anderen "besseren" opern sänger nicht, solltet ihr lieber froh sein das jemand wie er es gibt(bzw jemand wie er vermarktet wurde) weil dank ihm viel mehr junge leute sich für oper interresiert haben.
und natürlich habe ich mich nie sehr mit den anderen sängern auseinandergesetzt, aber habe mal diesen pavarotti gehört, und ehrlich, ich hör kein unterschied.

Even without Britain got talent (media), Paul potts would still exist, living his "normal" life, never knowing what if..... And world would be at loss too. This show combined whit his courage to exposse himself to public, gave a lot people the courage to try some things they wouldn't try before. So - thx Paul.
