Thanks for the comment. I had a lot of problems with levels using the Mic input on my Mac. So had to drop the levels of the whole video to match. I am hoping to correct this within the week.

I've never seen Toast before this was a great video.
Can anyone out there comment on the benefits of using Toast V9 instead of DVD Pro?

Geez, I thought Macs were so perfect and easy to use for those audio and graphics things that PC aren't supposed to be able to do? See that's the thing with Macs and those BS Mac vs PC ads and the whole fabricated Mac is better fantasy,.. It's all BS. I have more problems with Macs than my PCs - BTree, Dir, Prefs corrupt easily, OS X fragments worse than Windows, oh and that EVER PERSISTENT Spinning Beach Ball of Wait.
Great review though, sound is terrible ... should'a had a PC.

I agree, sound is terrible. New mic purchased now, so should be a massive improvement.

NO, "the spinning beach ball, indicates more memory is needed normally" is totally and completely incorrect. I administer as a School Dist Director of IT over 22000 computers, of which 1800 are Macs of G4, G5 and a few dozen MacIntel's. With 11 years experience, the Spinning Beach Ball is because OS X "loses it way", can't find files (lousy OS X file management) or the VERY usual - corrupted Prefs, Dir Structures and BTrees. This is a 'built-in" OS X flaw. (We try NOT to buy Macs any more)

Are you referring to DVD Studio Pro? If so, then these are two entirely different products. DVD Studio Pro is for authoring/editing/arranging DVD content. Toast 9 is for burning content to a CD, DVD, Blu-Ray etc. Hope this helps.

If you end up with a file bigger than 4.7GB then Toast should compress it down to a smaller size in the compression settings.

Nice video! Soon i'm going to buy a Mac and would like to ask you if i can cut my videos using Toast to put them after to the iPod touch. Thanks.

Well, not exactly. You would need to use the included iMovie or iDVD to edit them together. You could however use Toast if you just wanted to put multiple video files together, generate chapter markers etc.

You would need to use a Dual Layer (DL) DVD-R to fit this on.
