I don't really make music videos but I'm guessing what you want is a slideshow with music...
I use Adobe Premiere, a professional editor, where you have separate "tracks" or timelines for videos/images and audio. Just put the audio and pictures on different tracks.
If that's overkill, there are programs designed to do what you need. I found this free program: ImageToAVI. I haven't tried it but it seems like what you need. Message me or comment back; tell me how it goes.

For the Xbox 360 problem, wrapping it in towels is just a temporary fix. Most likely, the solder's just melted; by warping the board it just "jiggles the connection back in." Just call Microsoft at: 1-800-469-9269. Tell them you have the "Red Ring of Death (Three Red Lights)" problem; you'll probably be covered under the extended warranty, so they'll fix it for free. Follow their directions EXACTLY and say how upset you are.
