I really can't understand why you feel inclined to write off Joe Henderson out of hand. Whether you like him or not, he was a supremely skilled musician with unshakable poise and an vast arsenal of riffs and devices that he could use at will along with a rock solid structural sense.This performance shows a master craftsman at work. Dave Koz can play, but so could Joe.Your critical filters are just not working!
