My thoughts on two ... ( 10 months ago by eadgwonder)
My thoughts on two of Gaiman's projects, "Interworld" can't wait to see if there's a sequel, loved it!!!! Read it in two days!!! Beowulf, I give it a 4 out of 10. Written very hastily, as though they threw the whole story together in fifteen minutes. Could have been much better, maybe better without Angelina Jolie. The best thing about Beowulf, Crispin Glover!!!

I think he's better in longer stories, where he has space to evolve the characters. For the first reading I didn't like Anansi Boys... then I reread it, and it was awesome. Knowing where the story leads, it was very interesting to find the twists and turns that lead there. Also finding a lot of small signs that tells a lot about the ending, and each time I said (at second reading) 'oh of course, it's clearly written here'.
