SCARFOOT! A tribute to and parody of the classic Scarface... with martial arts thrown into the mix! Shot and edited over 6 weeks in Feb/Mar of 2008 this is the first major production from the Man On A Mission Films' crew. Enjoy!
My inspirations include mostly 70's 80's and 90's Hong Kong (HK) dramatic and comedic kung fu films from Golden Harvest and Shaw Brothers. Specific actors and directors include Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, Yuen Biao, Lau Kar Leung, Gordon Liu, Bruce Lee, Stephen Chow, Jet Li, Dick Wei, Lau Kar Wing, Corey Yuen, Tsui Hark, Lo Lieh, Jimmy Wang, Chang Cheh, Donnie Yen and Tony Jaa (for someone outside of China). I'm based in Perth, Western Australia.

I think you mis-heard the name. It's Ruiz... and he's not dead! Thanks for the comment on the music, it was fun to record it and I thought it was a nice track. And I love that triple kick... a direct tribute to Hwang Jang Lee.
