Grand Funk Railroad performing Heartbreaker @ Madison Square Garden 12/23/72. Yes, this is the real deal, the Grand Funk Railroad we all love at the peak of their great career. This is a historic concert that folks still rave about. If you were there, feel lucky, because you were a part of history. This is considered by many to be one of the greatest concerts in the short history of "Hard Rock/Metal". Grand Funk Railroad was truly a "Performance Vehicle". Once I had a little girl, sometimes I think about her,
But, buddy, you know shes not really there.
When memories do call, I just, I just cant live without her
But tryin all the time is so hard to bear.
Chorus
Heartbreaker, cant take her,
Heartbreaker, bringing me down.
Heartbreaker, cant take her,
Heartbreaker, bringing me down.
I dont cry no more, I live while Im flying,
But Ill think back, and you can hear me say:
Chorus
Chorus
Chorus
Half-chorus

Thnx for posting, brought back so many memories...made this dutch lady a happy one...
Mostly excellant and well thot out guitars, very in their time but ahead of most others, with calibrated roller nuts and some models were the first wireless guitars marketed. The M-F PUs were superb and Mark got some of his best sound/tone ever from this guitar.
Luther Perkins (Johnny Cash) and Carl Perkins were 2 of the very few to use these great guitars on stage or studio.
I was thinking of the Wurlitzer brand when I said the mid 60s.
Thank You Tom Petty for signing the petition at the description of this video to induct GFRxR into the Hall of Fame.
And Mark Farner WAS a heartbreaker!
