| how does it look the same just cus of this vid? look at it in reality and u'll see the big diff. and firmware and updates are good, they keep up to date ,thats y its called update, so u can get the latest tech. |

| dude plz stfu, don't start, i have a hd dvd and it looks ten times better than dvd, Plus alot, and i mean alot more ppl have said that blu-ray looks almost exactly like dvd, and that in disney movies it does look better but ppl movies such as the fifth element...wtf?! that movie looks horrible, even on standard cable it looks better, and yes i've seen it myself! so don't say im making crap up. And alot of sites have said that hd dvd does look better than blu-ray alot of reviews. |

| don't be an idiot you know and we all know that the only reason blu-ray sales are selling is because of the ps3, but it's said that at least only 1 movie has been watched...Talladega nights duh! it came with it. And no matter if the upscaled dvd looks the same as hd dvd, (which is total bull) it will still look better than any blu-ray movie. Just take a look at fifth element on blu-ray and you'll see the uglyness. |

| Well, even is the dvd looks like hd dvd, that means that it still looks better than blu-ray, and no way blu and hddvd don't look alike at all, Toshibas hd dvd player won the award for best audio and visual, so that say's it all, hd dvd looks better than blu-ray. |

| hey chitownruler, i checked it out and it says it's a near hd quality, but not hd, and hd dvd is hd, if they are doing this then why make and hd dvd at all? that means that hd dvd is still better than that shit. And for that price, and not being tru hd F THAT WHO WOULD GET THAT...well ppl would just because of all the dvds they own so thats a smart move. |

| well, the porn industry is going for hd dvd as well, and what do you think consumers would buy, a blurry tit (blu-ray) or a nice and perfect tit (hd dvd)? Oh and theres an article that even though blu-ray sales are going up, it's not what consumers what, blu-ray is going more for studio production, instead of doing it for consumers, and theres where hd dvd comes in. |
