It's also one of my fondest childhood memories I share with my 2 brothers and dad. We all used to gather around the TV saturday morning for the bugs bunny/road runner show.
1) IMO it's terrible overrated (was a Daffy fan myself)
2)Arthur Q Bryan was Fudd.:)
Elmer Fudd (voiced by Arthur Q. Bryan), The Three Bears (Billy Bletcher, Stan Freberg and Bea Benedaret), Granny of course (Bea Benedaret, then June Foray), and some others that I can't think of at the moment.
Chuck Jones, for instance, flat-out said "We never made them for kids. We made them for adults, and for ourselves."
But at some point, animation became stereotyped as kiddie entertainment, and it's still shaking that off to this day.
You will NEVER find another Mel Blanc, the best ever. And although these were cartoons, they ere NOT for kids, most of it was adult "inside humor",which gives them immortality.
He's 1 of my favorites.
