If 1.3 billion Chinese insist on a "gay" cheer, one ought not to blame the peace-loving, sadly divided Korean people for that. Besides, "gay" isn't such a bad thing. Wouldn't it help with population control? Cheer up! Jiayou!

LOVE IT!! Here's a thought. Have the Chinese guy speak in Chinese and dub himself over in English. I thought of this when there was a spot where the sound track was off and I was not sure if that was intentional. I would die laughing if that was the case.

I was at the Olympics and during the opening ceremony, I watched from outside the stadium. One person would shout something like "zhong guo!" or "ao yun!" and everyone would respond with "jia you".
One Russian guy thought it was funny how people where cheering, so he decided to lead the cheer. He stared with "zhong guo!" but then started shouting "Russia!" and the Chinese still responded with "jia you!
So funny how they were so pumped up that they didn't know what "Russia" means.

I would seriously consider learning Chinese if I had a whole set of beginners Chinese from you guys. It seems like THE most complicated language (and I know, it probably isn't and everyone says English is) because...there's no letters. It's like shorthand meets calligraphy and seems so overwhelming. Anyway, thanks for posting these! It's interesting. I didn't know China came up with an 'official' cheer. Sounds kind of strange to me, but then all the other past host countries probably did, too.
