I'm not gonna lie, the only reason I heard of this band is because of guitar hero 3, but they are a very skilled band with very skilled musiscians and any guitar hero players that think they can play real guitar because they are good at guitar hero try picking one up. :P

honestly, I think it kinda sucks that they are in guitar hero, I mean they,ve gotten more fans but most of those fans are kids who are addicted to video games and if it wasnt for guitar hero they wouldnt even know'em. I remember the first time I saw'em live few years ago the crowd was more grown up, last time I saw'em couple months ago moms bringing their kids to see DF! thats not very metal.

You make a very good point. It really kills me when people think they can fit in with the rest of the world cause they can hit buttons in order. The real reason Dragonforce sold their song to Guitar Hero is because even with their success so far, they still don't have the kind of money that sellout bands make. They sold their songs to Guitar Hero and got millions in return based off of the number of new fans. With their new funding they were able to produce their new album. Hard decision.

Yeah but kids are allowed to like DF. I mean thats what Human Rights is all about being allowed to like what you like and go where you like no matter whether your black, white, young, old, etc. I'm not like an adult or even 17 or 18 and I found out about them through guitar hero. But I'm a fan all the same. I dont see wots so rong with finding out about a Band through a game.

... well i didnt know that. hard decision huh. good for the money but they're losing respect from the metal scene for this new audiance. It knda sucks cuz DF is one of my favorite bands that I would go see evry time they're in town. but is frustrating when you talk to a metalhead and they're like "dude, Df is for kids, Amon Amarth is for men" haha yeah i like Amon Amarth too.
