I rated this high. But watch yourself and feel the pull of the song. The bass could really support this song (which I love) more with some small walks. Note, I'm not a bass player, but I try to incorporate a walking bass whenever my abilities allow. Experiment a bit and I think that with your talent you could really add to this rendition. Good job!

If I can't find one of these used for a good price I think I'll go for the Jack Casady bass. It's the closest thing available.

Fine job! It's one thing to play 'live' and drive the song and quite another to play along with a recording - point being you can't 'drive' the music as much. All that to the side, very nice work with the song. I have the Gibson version of this bass so found this of great interest. I really loved the big sound with the short scale and the 'Speaker-Blower' switch. Thanks for posting this!
