The guy is crazy , a mini without a rollbar and he is without a helmet , driving like that if he goes of the track at that speed ... i dont want to be there to watch the result. BUT , great video , great sound , sometimes it seems you change gear early but nice driving overall !

You obviously have never seen a high speed crash from a car with a roll cage, the guys often get out of the car unharmed even if the car rolled many times
I thinking especially about that orange 350z which was doing a top speed run or something like this and crash and rolled at 280 kph, the guys came out of the car by himself... thanks to its cage.
Or any other race car crash...

Very bad gearbox ratio. TOO long. Why u dont change ? can u hear if u change gears it stops Vtec kick in. This is loss of time.

yeah because of high RPM, but again he doesnt have too much power to loose grip that easy. If you have 400+hp, thats different.

I agree, it rarely seems 'on cam' does it? Lower final drive ratio needed perhaps? But why so many people obsess with putting very high power engines in a chassis as fundamentally flawed as Mini has always baffled me

hahaha, because its cheaper, and they think that only if they have light weight they will be fast. Which is a mistake. It is needed stability and control.

i see what your saying. The mini is not a luxury car. Its a LOUD little fucker that is more of a gocart then a car. Its a street legal go cart if anything. Little suspension travel, hops around etc
